Joshua v.s Klitschko Live Boxing 2017 Stream Online

This Saturday, April 29 is the biggest Heavyweight boxing fight in years when Anthony Joshua (18-0; 18 KO) takes on Wladimir Klitschko (64-4; 53 KO).On paper, Joshua vs. Klitschko is for the WBA, IBF, and IBO Heavyweight titles. But in reality, it's about so much more. This is the young, exciting knockout artist in Joshua rising up to take out the elder statesman of the division. Klitschko ruled over the division alongside his brother for years, and during that time, many fans saw their interest in Heavyweight decline. In 2015, Wlad lost in a huge upset to Tyson Fury, but numerous out of ring problems have kept Fury sidelined ever since. Now, it's either time for Wlad to regain his throne, or time for a new young gun to take over and establish himself as the sport's #1 Heavyweight (with the caveat of Fury, waiting in the wings). It's a fight that could almost single-handedly bring Heavyweight to the front of boxing for many fans. And it's a true pick 'em fight, one where we could get a classic for the ages, or where either man could be truly exposed - Joshua for his inexperience, Klistchko for his age. For this historic match-up, HBO and Showtime have been forced to work together, as each station represents one of the combatants. Showtime will air the fight live Saturday afternoon at 4:15 p.m. ET, with HBO showing a tape-delayed replay at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT Saturday night. For international fans, the full card starts at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sky Box Office. Here, we'll be covering the Showtime broadcast as it airs.

Anthony Joshua vs. Wladimir Klitschko

The global reach of Anthony Joshua’s world-title showdown against Wladimir Klitschko on Saturday night has achieved “unprecedented levels”, according to promoter Eddie Hearn. The Ukrainian’s management team has revealed that the 41-year-old former world No?1 “has never been in a fight with so much interest” in his 68-contest career. Aside from the fact that 90,000 spectators filing into Wembley stadium breaks the post-war attendance record for a boxing match, for only the third time in history rival American television networks HBO and Showtime have both bought into the world title bout.

It has been agreed to that HBO and Showtime will televise the April 29 heavyweight title fight between current IBF champion Anthony Joshua and former unified champion Wladimir Klitschko. Showtime, the exclusive U.S. television partner of Joshua, will televise the fight live at 4:15 p.m. ET, while HBO, the exclusive network for Klitschko, will televise the fight on World Championship Boxing at 10:45 p.m. ET/PT. Each network will produce its own separate telecast. Matchroom Sport, the British promotional company that handles Joshua (18-0, 18 KOs), Klitschko Management Group and K2 Promotions reached agreement with U.S. premium networks.

Joshua and Klitschko (64-4, 53 KOs) will meet for Joshua’s IBF World Championship and the vacant IBO and WBA World Championships.   Joshua, the 2012 Olympic super heavyweight gold medalist, has knocked out all 18 opponents in a meteoric rise to stardom, while the long-reigning world champion from Ukraine, Klitschko, aims to win back titles he previously held in his 11-year rule as heavyweight world champion.

“I'm extremely happy and thankful that our respective U.S. TV partners Showtime and HBO reached an agreement,” said Bernd Boente, Managing Director of Klitschko Management Group. “This happened before in the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao and the Lewis vs. Tyson fights and shows you the magnitude of our event at Wembley Stadium on April 29.”
